Show me the manner in which a nation or community cares for its dead, and I will measure with mathematical exactness the tender sympathies of its people, their respect for the laws of the land, and their loyalty to high ideals.
—Prime Minister Gladstone
Remembering our ancestors is one of the primary commitments of every Jew, and we are commanded to remember them at every gathering of a community.
Temple Ner Simcha is delighted to now have a permanent space in our Sanctuary to remember our loved ones on our beautiful Wall of Remembrance.
This spectacular Wall of Remembrance, is an opportunity for every member of the community to be able to have a permanent memorial for their loved ones. The cost of each memorial plaque with one name inscribed on it is $180. To have two names inscribed on a memorial plaque the cost is $300 (the names are to be for a couple). A picture of this custom designed Wall of Remembrance is above – it is attached to the back wall of our sanctuary, and will be moved and with us during our High Holiday services at the Canyon Club as well.
Remember your loved ones at Yizkor on Yom Kippur with a permanent plaque in this beautiful wall. It is a Jewish belief that our ancestors bless us during our prayer services, and our responsibility to honor them in public ways.
May we count on your participation?
