Anti-Semitism is more prevalent than at any time since the Holocaust, but why? How did this practice of hatred become so “normalized”, especially in America and Europe? What are the historical and theological roots of Anti-Semitism, and how is it expressed in the 21st century? How is it possible that self proclaimed Nazis and publicly Anti-Semitic individuals can be serious contenders for national public offices?

These questions and more will be discussed in this special lecture given by Rabbi Barclay. The 2010 recipient of the Bnai Zion Distinguished Humanitarian Award, our Rabbi is a former Professor of Theology at Loyola Marymount University, and a nationally recognized academic in Jewish theology and history. He will help us understand the roots of this despicable practice, recognize how it is manifested in 21st century America, and give tools for fighting this evil.

The class will be held in a private room at Bogies at The Westlake Village Inn, and all are welcome to come.
